Masonry & Stucco — New Installation + Repairs

Full installs, targeted repairs, moisture-path fixes, and finish matching — done with the right prep and details.

Whether you’re installing new stucco/veneer or fixing cracks and water intrusion, we focus on what causes failure: movement, improper terminations, missing flashing/weep details, and weak bonding. We scope it correctly, repair the substrate, and deliver a finish that blends (not patched).

Serving Merced and surrounding areas • Licensed & insured • Installation + repairs + refinishing

Fast triage: install vs cracks vs moisture vs loose veneer (optional)
✓ New installs • ✓ Repairs + finish matching • ✓ Moisture-path + flashing/weep checks • ✓ Mortar + veneer stabilization

Masonry & Stucco Services with wiBuilder

We provide both new installations and repairs for stucco, brick, block, and stone veneer. Our approach: identify the cause, repair the substrate, detail the edges, then match the finish.

New Installation

Complete installation for additions, remodels, ADUs, and full exterior refresh projects.

Install scope
Stucco Systems 1-coat or 3-coat systems based on substrate and scope.
WRB + Flashing Weather-resistive barrier integration and critical flashing details.
Weep Screed Proper base drainage/termination details (when applicable).
Control Joints Joint layout to manage movement and reduce cracking risk.
Brick / Block New veneer features, block walls, planters (as scoped).
Stone Veneer Install Manufactured or natural veneer with clean joints and edges.
Finish Options Smooth, sand, lace, dash, or custom textures + color coat.
Sealers Optional sealers where appropriate + maintenance guidance.

What a “complete install” typically includes

  • Site protection + surface prep (masking, protection of nearby finishes as needed)
  • Substrate review (sheathing, fastening, flatness; minor corrections where feasible)
  • WRB integration (weather-resistive barrier) at penetrations and transitions
  • Base details: weep screed / terminations and drainage considerations (when applicable)
  • Reinforcement: lath / mesh and base coats per system
  • Finish: texture application and/or color coat; clean caulking joints
  • Final cleanup + punch list

Typical install upgrades (optional)

  • Higher-durability finish options and wider blending for seamless appearance
  • Improved edge sealing at openings and penetrations
  • Moisture-risk mitigation where feasible (critical transitions & terminations)

Note: Final system details depend on structure, substrate, and local requirements.

Repairs + Restoration

Targeted fixes that address underlying causes — not cosmetic-only patching.

Repair scope
Crack Repair Prep, fill, reinforce where needed, and blend finish.
Stucco Patching Impact damage, holes, delamination; texture + color matching.
Moisture Fixes Stop water paths first; repair substrate before final finish.
Weep / Flashing Check common failure points at edges and penetrations.
Control Joint Repair Restore joint function to reduce recurring cracking.
Repointing Remove failed mortar and repoint for strength and appearance.
Brick / Block Repair Replace damaged units, stabilize loose sections (as scoped).
Veneer Reset Reset loose veneer, regrout, restore alignment and edges.

Typical repair process

  1. Inspect and identify cause: movement, moisture, bond failure, impact
  2. Remove failed material back to sound edges
  3. Restore base/substrate; add reinforcement where required
  4. Rebuild finish and match texture; blend color/coat for best look
  5. Seal transitions/edges where applicable; final cleanup

Finish matching notes

  • Sun fade can affect color match; blending usually looks best.
  • Some textures need a wider feather to hide transitions.
  • We’ll recommend the smallest blend area that still looks clean.

Likely next step

Note: We confirm on-site. If moisture is present, fixing the water path is priority before cosmetic finish.

Estimate Install or Repair Cost

Quick planning tool. Final pricing depends on access, height, finish type, substrate condition, and whether moisture-path issues exist.

  • Install: uses area-based baseline (sq ft).
  • Repair: uses typical service ranges.

Common Masonry & Stucco Questions

Fast answers — we’ll confirm details during inspection.

If damage is widespread, moisture is recurring, or edge details are failing across an elevation, a recoat or partial rebuild can be more durable and look cleaner than many patches.

Typically: surface prep, WRB integration, flashing/edge details, reinforcement, system coats (per scope), finish texture/color, sealant joints, cleanup, and punch list.

Many hairline cracks are cosmetic, but cracks around windows/doors, corners, or near the base can allow water intrusion. We check crack pattern, location, and movement to recommend the right repair.

Hollow spots often indicate delamination from the substrate, sometimes driven by moisture. Repairs usually require removing loose material, restoring the base, then patching and blending the finish.

Usually yes. Matching depends on the existing finish type, age, and sun fade. We may recommend blending a larger area for the cleanest visual result.
